Las Vegas
Arrival in Las Vegas

This city is located in the Mojave Desert and is the largest city in the state of Nevada in the United States. It’s quite recent because it was founded at the beginning of the 20th century.
So, the contrast between the desert and this very urbanized city in its middle surprised and struck me.
Then I took a photo in front of the famous sign “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” which is at the entrance to the Las Vegas Strip, this large avenue which presents casinos, hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues.
Around 11 o’clock, I joined my friends at the Bellagio Casino Hotel (They arrived there last night).
I was looking forward to seeing them again. The hotel is grandiose, because it is one of the most luxurious in Las Vegas. It has many restaurants, swimming pools, spas,… However, the only two nights I spent in this hotel cost me a lot of money.
Later, we ate at the hotel before taking a short nap and enjoying the pool.
Around 4pm, we went out for a walk in the strip and saw the wonderful Bellagio Fountains show.
In the evening we ate at the Skyfall Lounge which offers a superb view. We then went to the Wynn Las Vegas Casino where I had a great time but where I lost at all the games…
We returned to the hotel quite late and admired all the city lights again.

Las Vegas: Day 2
We spent the morning in an amusement park: The Adventuredom, where we had a good laugh.
Then we ate at a restaurant rather expensive but excellent: Top of the world.
After eating well, we went to do a little shopping in the Miracle Mile Shops. It’s a special shopping center because there’s a show: the Rain Show, which recreates a storm but indoors with sound and light effects. It was fascinating and impressive.
Then we went back to the hotel and went to the spa.
After dinner, we went back out and headed to the Neon Museum before it closed.
This museum exhibits more than 250 signs that trace the visual history of Las Vegas. The neon signs were lit, so it was magical.
Departure
We went by bus to McCarran airport at 8 a.m., because another destination was waiting for us.
Evenutally, I liked this city which didn’t particularly attract me at first, because it reflects excessive consumption in the United States and it's very noisy and bright because it’s lively all night long. This is very nice in the short therm but I think if you live there, it must be exhausting.
